JOIN THE SOCIETY
The Joining Process
To join The Forty Club Golfing Society you must also be a member of The Forty Club itself, which is the second largest cricket club in the world after the MCC.
The fees for The Forty Club are £30 annually, and the Golfing Society a further £10 (£20 in first year). On acceptance you will be sent a tie for both sections. The Forty Club collects its membership fees using a Direct Debit system whilst the XL Golfing Society uses a standing order system.
You can find the registration form for the Forty Club Golfing Society below. Please complete the mandatory fields marked with a red asterix.
You will require a sponsor for your application. This will usually be a fellow golfer or cricketer and who must be a Member of the Forty Club but if in doubt please contact the Hon. Membership Secretary using the Contact Us page before completing applications online. If you are a cricketer and already a Member of the XL Club then please indicate ‘Current XL Member and cricketer’ in the sponsors name field.
Once the form is complete accept the terms and submit your application which will be forwarded to the XLGS Hon. Membership Secretary. You will shortly receive a Welcome Email that provide details of the XLGS bank account and how to set up an annual Standing Order. Once the initial £20 is received you will receive a further letter from the Membership Secretary with details of how to join the main Forty Club (a mandatory requirement) and how to access the XLGS website, along with an XLGS tie.
We look forward to welcoming you to the society.
