Accommodation: Rooms will be booked at The Roebuck Hotel, Wych Cross, Forest Row, RH18 5JL (£90 Single Room B & B – settle directly with the Hotel)
13.30: Optional: At Royal Ashdown Forest GC (RAFGC): Informal foursomes golf with Lucifers at member/guest rate: Meet 12 noon for a sandwich: Numbers limited
7.15 for 8.00pm: Dinner at RAFGC (Open bar) – Dress: Jacket and tie – (NOT BLACK TIE). An 8 seater minibus will shuttle guests back to the Hotel.
Wednesday 7th August
Breakfast at The Roebuck from 7.00am.
or – Coffee at RAFGC from 8.00am – breakfast can be ordered on the day at the club for those not staying at the Roebuck.
MATCH: XL Club v LGS: From 9.00am Foursomes on the Old Course.
Lunch (Jacket and Tie) to include presentation of the Robert Lee Quaich to the winning side (LGS current holders).
Post Lunch: Optional golf on the West Course.
Overall expenses:
for golf £130, dinner £45 excl wine, 2 course lunch £28.50, wine, drinks etc per tab split between all players. Charges to be settled directly with the club before departure.
