A disappointing result but the Forty Clubbers didn’t seem to cope quite so well with the deluge of rain that started at about 12.15! The first group were the only ones to get in relatively unscathed.
However, all in all, including the excellent dinner the night before at the Club, it was, as it always is, a very successful and fun event, played in the right spirit!
The match has been going since 1982, with the results after yesterday reading XL Club 20 wins, Lucifers 12, Draws 8 and Covid 2!
