Members will be saddened to hear of the sudden and untimely death of member Iain Westwater who passed away on Sunday 30th October.
Iain had been suffering from an untreatable form of cancer in his sinuses but despite his condition he had played in many matches and meetings over recent months. At his favourite course of St George’s Hill GC he was due to embark on his 5th round of the week but collapsed in the clubhouse and passed away quickly and painlessly. Condolences from the society are sent to his wife and family.
