I would like to extend a warm welcome to those new Members who have joined us since the turn of the year. To that I would also add Alex Mitchel and Gordon Wint late Autumn joiners from 2020. Gordon in particular has thrown himself into our fixture list with great enthusiasm despite having to drive all of the way from Ledbury (Herefordshire) often meaning an overnight stay before one of our matches.
Our joiners are Stephen Millett, Aidan Lisser, George Domaszewski, David Ball, Paul Murphy (from Wales), Steve Tovey (I O Wight) and Sanjay Thapan. In particular Peter Pennekett deserves a huge thank you for introducing several of the new men. I am sure that it will mean that Peter is never short of a team for the Royal Ashdown match which he manages.
I hope that all of the newcomers appear this year in our match teams and remind them all that you have to ask through the new website system to be considered.
We still need every one of us to try and recruit at least one new person to the club as our losses remain much higher than our accruals.
